Valparaiso will win if: The Crusaders are able to balance their offense between the perimeter and low post. Guards Betsy Adams (16.7 ppg.) and Ashley Timmerman (8.7 ppg.) are the Crusaders' leading scorers, and they've combined for 15 3-pointers in three games. Freshman forward Tabitha Gerardot (7 ppg.) is the front court's top scorer.

Ball State will win if: The Cardinals can provide Emily Maggert some help. The 6-foot-1 senior forward is averaging a double-double (15 ppg, 11 rpg). Suzanne Grossnickle, a 6-foot-2 senior forward, is the only other Cardinal averaging double figures (11.8 ppg).

Notes: Ball State is 1-1 against the Horizon League this season. Detroit defeated the Cardinals 78-60, while Ball State edged Wright State 64-63.
