October 16, 2013 6:00 pm

Seattle (5-1) at Arizona (3-3)

When: 7:30 p.m. today.

TV: NFL Network (cable).

Line: Seahawks -6 (40.5)

The skinny: The 26th-ranked offense (Arizona) against the No. 2 defense (Seattle)? This one could be over before it even gets started. That isn't to say that the Cards don't stand a chance. They are playing at home, which may help a smidge. The problem is, they're not a good rushing team to begin with, and the Seahawks just bottled up the Titans – who normally are a good rushing team. So that means Arizona probably will want to pass with Carson Palmer … and Seattle has the No. 2 passing defense. None of this bodes very well for the Cards. Apparently October is the redbirds' month in baseball only.

MattE's pick: Seahawks 31, Cardinals 14
