Green Bay (5-5-1) at Detroit (6-5)

When: 11:30 a.m. today.

TV: Fox (Ch. 32).

Line: Lions -6.5 (50).

The skinny: The NFC North is completely up for grabs, but the Packers can do themselves a big favor with an upset. The problem is, even though they looked better with Matt Flynn last week than with Scott Tolzien, they still had to settle for a sister-kissing tie. Green Bay hasn't won since Aaron Rodgers went down against the Bears. I think they can keep it within striking distance today, but will finish a drumstick short of victory again.

MattE's pick: Lions 31, Packers 27.

Oakland (4-7) at Dallas (6-5)

When: 3:30 p.m. today.

TV: CBS (Ch. 2).

Line: Cowboys -9.5 (47.5).

The skinny: The Cowboys bounced back nicely from the whipping they suffered in New Orleans. After a much-needed bye week, they held off the Giants on the road. At home on Thanksgiving, as big favorites, I expect a result more like the one the Saints laid on Dallas a couple weeks back, but with the Cowboys smiling this time around.

MattE's pick: Cowboys 42, Raiders 17.

Pittsburgh (5-6) at Baltimore (5-6)

When: 7:30 p.m. today.

TV: NBC (Ch. 5).

Line: Ravens -3 (40.5).

The skinny: It seems almost inconceivable that after starting 0-4, the Steelers could be within a game of the lead in the NFC North after this weekend. It just will take a win on the road against an inconsistent Ravens team and a Bengals loss. Playing their best of the season right now thanks to Ben Roethlisberger, the Steelers should give the Ravens a tough test in Baltimore, where they've played well the last few years.

MattE's pick: Steelers 23, Ravens 20.
