Both E.C.'s Hyron Edwards and Lowell's Zach Van Hook had frustrating first halves, as the two combined for just one field goal -- a 3 by Van Hook with two minutes left.
The host Cardinals found their offensive stride in the third quarter with20 points, including an 11-2 run over the last four minutes of the quarter and they held Lowell (0-3) to just six.
Van Hook, who scored a game-high 25, finally got it going in the final quarter, but the fourth was dominated by Burnett, who scored the Cardinals' first six of period.
