Michael Schlotman led Munster to an undefeated regular season, the No. 1 ranking in the state in every poll and a sectional championship.
one final dream was realized Tuesday when the William & Mary recruit was named to the Indiana All-Star team, which will play Kentucky on June 14 and 15.
Schlotman is coach Mike Hackett's third guard named to the Indiana All-Star team, including Michael Bizoukas and Joe Crisman, all under Mike Hackett's 13-year tenure.
All-Star director Charlie Hall called Hackett after he couldn't get ahold of Schlotman and asked Hackett if the 6-foot-4 point guard was running around with his girlfriend or buddies.
Hackett responded, "Nope, I just left him and he was in the gym doing a workout."
Hackett told Schlotman on Monday that Hall had called, and when Schlotman's No. 1 individual goal for this season was realized, it showed.
"He had the biggest smile on his face that I had ever seen," Hackett said. "We're very proud of him."
