Last year: 6-16, 2-5 (PCC)
The Cherokees hit the weight room in the offseason, so don't expect this team to have a problem matching up physically with their opponents. Junior Chase Braden, the coach's son, and sophomore Jake Koselke are a solid 1-2 punch. Koselke, the second-leading returning scorer (9.8) provides a quality second option on offense. Overall, 28 points and 13 rebounds per game return to the lineup, and coach Eric Braden likes what he sees with his team. "We should be able to go seven or eight deep," coach Braden said. "We have a good group of players; they are very coachable. With our added size and defensive presence, we look to be competitive in conference play." — Jim Hunsley
