Boys basketball
St. Francis de Sales 61, Starck County 42: Adebayo Babalola paced four Pioneers (3-6) in double digits with 17 points. Eric Washington had 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Robert Jackson and Joseph Pearson had 12 and 11, respectively.
Pearson also added four assists and three steals.
Morton 85, Roosevelt 77: Greg Flores scored a game-high 27 points and handed out four assists as the Governors rallied past the Panthers.
D'Jari Grffin and Brandon Valentine each added 16 points for Morton. Valentine also grabbed 11 rebounds, while Griffin had five steals.
Michael Jenkins led Roosevelt with 23 points, while Derrick Payton scored 19.
Girls basketball
Washington 57, Lindbloom 42: Two Washington Patriots had double-doubles in their win.
Victoria Bradley led Washington (7-4, 4-2 Chicago Public League) with 19 points and had 11 rebounds. Angelique Patterson had 13 and 13, while Julyssa Saez had 18 points and seven assists.
West Side 41, Munster 34: Diamond Edwards scored 12 points, and Antoinette Taylor added 10 to help the Times No. 5 Cougars (5-1) defeat the Mustangs.
Jennifer Walton paced Munster (4-5) with 11 points and five steals.
E.C. Central 46, Gavit 41: Despite a game-high 25 points from Breauna Rivoli-Johnson, the Gladiators (6-4) fell to the Cardinals.
Malyra Carter led E.C. Central (8-1) with 15 points, while Teeuntra Moore pulled down nine rebounds.
Whiting 49, LaCrosse 28: Kaylyn Anderson scored a game-high nine points to lead the visiting Oilers (5-4) over the Tigers.
Christine Malecki had eight points and two assists for LaCrosse.
