Bryce Lang rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown, helping Boone Grove defeat Bowman Academy 20-8 Friday at Valparaiso High School.
The Wolves rushed for 224 yards. Evan Stewart added 10 carries for 61 yards and Boone Grove's other TD. Andrew Ooms kicked a 35-yard field goal, while teammate Tony Skoda added one from 32 yards.
Niko Kilburg had two sacks, while George Kranik had two interceptions.
The Eagles rushed for 132 yards and passed for 120.
Rensselaer 45, Twin Lakes 0: The Times No. 7 Bombers (5-0, 2-0) rolled up 300 yards of offense and crushed the Indians (3-2, 0-2) in Hoosier Conference play.
Rensselaer's defense was just as decisive, allowing just three first downs, eight yards rushing and 66 total yards.
"I thought we clicked on all cylinders," said Bombers coach Chris Meeks, whose team has outscored opponents 186-40 this season.
The Bombers' defense that started the scoring with a 32-yard interception return from Eli Isom early in the first quarter. Rensselaer also got a defensive lift from Dalton Souders, who had nine tackles, 2 1/2 sacks and an interception. Beau Boswell had seven tackles.
On offense, Trevor Hill gained 63 yards on nine carries, including a 32-yard TD run in the fourth quarter. Rylan Arihood also had 63 yards and scored from a yard out. Dylan Wright was an efficient 7-of-9 passing for 99 yards, including a 7-yard TD pass to Isaiah Valencia. Wright also had a 4-yard TD run. Luke Robertson was perfect on all six of his PAT attempts, and added a 32-yard field goal.
