As reported last week in The Times, Thornridge High School will become a freshman-only academy starting with the 2011-12 school year, according to a District 205 press release.
Thornton and Thornwood will house grades 10-12 starting in the fall, but it is still unclear whether Thornridge will have freshman sports or the students will play for their respective schools.
If that holds true, that means there will no sports at the Dolton campus.
