Chad Schultz rushed for 269 yards and three scores then added a 74-yard punt return in North Newton's 40-6 win over Lake Station in Greater South Shore Conference play Friday night.
Schultz scored from 1, 21 and 56 yards out. A.J. Mendoza scored from 11 yards out and Jeremy Jones from 5 yards out to round out the scoring for the Spartans (4-4, 3-3).
Kyle Gooch rushed 18 times for 98 yards and the lone score -- a 3-yard run -- for the Eagles (2-6, 2-4).
