Rensselaer intercepted six passes, including Ab Kiger's 44-yard pick for a score, and rolled to a 31-6 Hoosier Conference win over Benton Central on Friday night.
The Bombers (4-5, 2-4) held the Bison (3-6, 2-4) to just 189 total yards, only 56 on the ground.
Unlike the Benton Central, Rensselaer was able to make plays with their passing game. Rensselaer quarterback Hunter Hickman was 10-of-17 for 217 yards and three touchdowns. Hickman connected with Braden Mattocks for scores of 16 and 44 yards, and hooked up with Ryan Lattimore for a 68-yard scoring strike.
