The Times Breakdown
The Thunderbirds just missed a 7-2 season in 2011 and a couple of kicks would have made the difference in making the playoffs or not. The Thornwood offense should be able to put up plenty of points behind proven senior quarterback Bolton. He has plenty of experience finding the end zone and Blissit will be a nice target down the field for the Thunderbirds. It will be up to the defensive coaching staff to see if they can get an inexperienced defense up to speed fast enough to help keep the Thunderbirds competitive. Moore is the lone returning defensive starter from 2011, and he brings game changing ability to the Thornwood secondary. The Thunderbirds bring back very few starters from last season, and the team will have to learn on the fly if they hope to surpass last season's win total.
Quote: "If our offensive line and our defensive line hold up, I definitely think we will have the opportunity to compete for our fair share of football games." !~ Milhouse.
