After one day at the Illinois High School Assocation's girls state bowling meet in Rockford, T.F. South sits in 17th place.
Charity Bickom rolled a score of 1,142 in six games, also leading the Rebels with a high-game score of 242.
Other T.F. South bowlers were Kalia Garcia (1,092), Lauren Hart (1,081), Amber Montejano (1,076) and Shannon Pollard (992).
T.F. North's Kade' Jah Stephens bowled a six-game score of 1,141, good for 72nd overall.
Thornridge 73, Stagg 60: Austin Dunbar's double-double led the Falcons (7-16, 2-9) to the upset of the Chargers in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.
Dunbar had 14 points and 16 rebounds. Antonio Woods led Thornridge in scoring with 23 points. Darrion Robinson added 12.
Bloom Township 51, Rich South 24: Johnny Griffin's 13 points led the Blazing Trojans to the lopsided Southland Athletic Conference win.
Nhyree Mitchell added 11 for Bloom (20-3, 7-1).
Homewood-Flossmoor 70, Bolingbrook 59: Lamar Wofford-Humphrey scored 20 points -- 12 in the fourth quarter -- to help the Vikings (17-5) to the win.
Marcus Willis and Rashaan Surles each scored 13 points, whle Marius Hill added 12 points.
Seton Academy 68, Hales Franciscan 54: Mark Weems scored 18 points to lead the Sting (16-9, 8-2 Catholic League South) to the win.
Alex Foster contributed 17 points, eight rebounds and five blocked shots for Seton.
Thornton 63, Lincoln-Way West 48: DeMarques Turner led the Wildcats (11-9, 9-2) with 19 points in the SouthWest Suburban Red win.
Jamani Pierce added 16 points for the Wildcats, doing all his offensive damage in the second half.
Crete-Monee 74, Rich Central 56: Marvie Keith and Mark Conner had 17 points each to lead the Warriors (16-7, 4-4) to the Southland Athletic Conference win.
Conner had nine rebounds and Keith added six assists. Marquette Muhiammed had 16 points.
Fenwick 69, Mount Carmel 60: The Caravan (10-14, 5-5) was outscored 32-16 in the fourth quarter in the Catholic League North loss to the Friars.
Christian Searles led Mount Carmel with 21 points, while David Nichols had 14.
