Jill Rosenbaum helped South Central remain atop the Porter County Conference standings Friday night with 17 points, 11 rebounds, six blocks and five steals in a 51-41 win over visiting Hebron in girls basketball action.
Trailing 25-15 at halftime, the Satellites (9-3, 4-0) erupted for 36 second-half points to rally for the win. Morgan Wright added 12 points, while Madison Tomblin had 11.
Madison Bell and Emily DeFries each scored a team-high eight points for the Hawks (7-6, 4-3).
Washington Township 58, LaCrosse 39: Heather Burton scored a game-high 19 points to lead the visiting Senators (5-8, 2-4) over the Tigers (4-8, 0-3) in PCC play. Sammie Higgins added 12.
Gabbie Sievers led LaCrosse with 12 points, while Alissa Tucker added 11.
Calumet 48, Lake Station 33: Joanna Dwyer had 16 points for the Eagles (3-9, 1-5), but it wasn't enough in the Greater South Shore Conference loss.
Crown Point 56, Chesterton 45: Abby Kvachkoff led the Bulldogs (4-10, 2-6) with 14 points in a Duneland Athletic Conference road win over the Trojans (4-8, 2-7).
Katija Tarailo chipped in 13 for the Bulldogs, while Katie Howarth added 10 points.
Chesterton's Kelsey Conway and Caroline Puntillo had 14 points apiece.
Lowell 74, Andrean 28: Katie Bobos had a game-high 20 points to lead the Times No. 3 Red Devils to a Northwest Crossroads Conference win.
Mackenzie Kreutz added 16 points for the Red Devils (11-1, 4-0), who held the 59ers to just one first-quarter point.
Brittany Gray led Andrean (5-11, 2-3) with nine points.
Bowman Academy 56, Westville 49: Kailynn Steele drained four 3-pointers and scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Eagles (2-8) over the Blackhawks (1-11). Joshlynn King added 16 points.
Westville's Shaina Jacks had a team-high 14.
Boys Basketball
Kouts 90, North Judson 64: Three players had double-doubles, and the Times No. 7 Mustangs (8-1) were 15-of-15 at the free-throw line in a rout of the Bluejays (2-8).
Max Everaert led the way with 28 points and 14 rebounds; Andrew Birky had 22 points and 13 rebounds, and Matt Stewart had 18 points, 15 boards and seven blocks.
Washington Township 81, LaCrosse 46: Themarr McGee and Ryan Geberin each scored 18 points as the Senators 6-3 (2-2) crushed the host Tigers (1-8, 0-4) in PCC play. Bobby Ross added 12 points, while Brandon Adkins had 10.
Riley Charlesworth had a team-high 18 points for LaCrosse, while Bryce Guse added 11.
Hebron 54, South Central 49: Jon Moneta's 19 points helped the Hawks (6-4, 4-2 PCC) get past the Satellites (2-6, 0-3). Mark Richards' 12 points for S.C. were on four 3s.
Lake Central 64, LaPorte 56: Matt Meneghetti hit four 3s and scored 14 points as the Indians topped the Slicers. Tye Wilburn (13), Joe Bannister (11), Tyler Wideman (10) and Mike Miklusak (10) all reached double figures for LC (6-4, 5-2 DAC).
LaPorte was led by Josh Fleming's 15 points, one more than Gage Ott, who nabbed 10 boards.
