Last year: 21-3, 7-0 (GSSC)
Bishop Noll lost no seniors from last year's Greater South Shore Conference championship team. The conference title holders and tournament winners are bitter only about their loss to Whiting in the sectional final, and that taste has only grown over the offseason. "Now they're believing in what we're doing," coach Vanita Gary said. "They're putting the work in and they've bought into the reality of what we can do." The Warriors can score from almost anywhere, and the improvement of Tori Keilman, the almost forgotten sophomore behind Brenda Pennington and Naomi House, gives Noll a killer inside presence. The biggest question mark will be what the experience of the 21-3 season means to the overall hunger for this team this year. — Hillary Smith

Newcomer to watch
Naomi House, So., G: The House name is no newcomer, but her improving skills will be. She's adding her own leadership bullet to her already loaded arsenal of talents. She can still shoot from anywhere an dribble around the best.
