Fast facts: This is the first time since 2004 that the sectional has been held in Lake County. That year, it was at Crown Point and won by Valparaiso. LaPorte holds seven sectional titles, only one in the multiclass era: 2001. Michigan City and Portage are tied with the fewest sectional titles in the field with four; Valparaiso has the most with 20.
