Scouting Report: Chapman has not fully recovered from the torn ACL she suffered last season, but when she comes back, look for the Alabama-Birmingham signee to have a great season.

Amari Griffin | Beecher | 6-0 | So. | C

2008-09 stats: 12.4 ppg, 8.1 rpg, 2.1 spg, 1.4 apg

Scouting Report: A potential big-time player, Griffin could be the best player in the River Valley Conference. She will keep the Ladycats in a lot of games with her rebounding.

Emily Kobel | Marian Catholic | 6-0 | Sr. | G/F

2008-09 stats: 6.9 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 1.1 apg

Scouting Report: The Illinois-Chicago recruit will be one of the floor leaders for the Spartans this season. She is not afraid to go inside and battle.

Simone Law | Marian Catholic | 6-0 | Jr. | F

2008-09 stats: 10.5 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 1.0 spg

Scouting Report: She has offers from Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Northern Illinois and Loyola and is a big-time player. Law shot 55 percent from the field and did a nice job helping control the boards last season.

Dawn Luster | T.F. North | 5-9 | Sr. | G

2008-09 stats: 6.2 ppg, 3.2 apg, 1.6 rpg

Scouting Report: She signed with IUPUI and is poised to have a great year. She can score, dish or play tough defense. She and Centrese McGee give the Meteors the best backcourt in the South Suburban Blue, perhaps even the state.

Jasmine Matthews | Marian Catholic | 5-11 | Jr. | F

2008-09 stats: 7.4 ppg, 1.9 apg, 1.1 rpg, 1.1 spg

Scouting Report: She has offers from Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Northern Illinois and St. Louis. Matthews shot 57 percent from the field last season and 46 percent from 3-point range. This could be a great season for her.

Centrese McGee | T.F. North | 5-9 | Sr. | G

2008-09 stats: 13.1 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 5.0 spg, 2.4 apg

Scouting Report: The Illinois signee can do it all and is one of the best in the state. She had 11 steals in a game last year. There is nobody who can stop her on either end of the court, and she also plays smart.

Jailyn Norris | Homewood-Flossmoor | 5-10 | Jr. | G

2008-09 stats: 12.0 ppg, 4.6 rpg

Scouting Report: She has offers from Memphis and Illinois State, and several other Division I schools have shown interest in her. If the Vikings are to have a big year, she will be one of the reasons for it. She can score, but she's not afraid to go after a loose ball or grab a rebound.

Jeanise Randolph | T.F. North | 6-1 | Sr. | C

2008-09 stats: 13.4 ppg, 7.6 rpg

Scouting Report: She signed with Cincinnati and is one of the best post players in the area, maybe even the state. Randolph had seven double-doubles last season and changed the course of several games with her defensive play.

Cici Shannon | Homewood-Flossmoor | 6-3 | Sr. | C

2008-09 stats: 7.0 ppg, 9.6 rpg

Scouting Report: She has offers from Southern Illinois, SIU-Edwardsville, Mississippi State and Indiana. Shannon plays great defense is a game-changer with her ability to make an opponent alter her shot.

Ashley Stevenson | T.F. South | 5-7 | Sr. | G

2008-09 stats: 8.1 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 2.1 spg, 1.5 apg

Scouting Report: Stevenson is expected to be the floor leader for the Rebels this season and is coming off a good junior campaign. She hit 44 percent of her 3-point attempts and also had 14 blocked shots. She will be counted on to deliver for the Rebels.

Jessica Wiltjer | Illiana Christian | 6-0 | Sr. | F

2008-09 stats: 10.5 ppg, 8.2 rpg

Scouting Report: The three-sport athlete led the Vikings in scoring and rebounding. She is a solid all-around player, as she had 19 steals and 19 assists last season and was an All-Private School League pick. She should be one the best in the Metro Suburban Conference.
