Crete-Monee's Nyles Morgan, considered by several scouting services to be one of the top prep linebackers announced his final six schools on Sunday.
Morgan said Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Florida, Texas A&M, Michigan State and Tennessee are still in the running as to where he will play his college football.
The 6-foot-3 Morgan did not play in Saturday's 43-6 season-opening win over T.F. South. Coach John Konecki said he kept him out because of a sore left knee.
Morgan was The Times 2012 Defensive Player of the Year in 2012 as he helped lead the Warriors to the Class 6A state title. He had 106 tackles, four sacks and two interceptions.
