Isaac Cutrara threw for a season-high five touchdowns, four to Devonte Harley-Hampton, as Times No. 2 Homewood-Flossmoor trounced Lockport 54-14 Friday night in a SouthWest Suburban Blue Conference game.
Cutrara was 13-of-20 passing for 329 yards for the Vikings (7-1, 5-1), who bounced back from last week's loss to Bolingbrook. Hampton caught five passes for 114 yards and had eight rushes for 85 yards. Aaron Gooch also caught a touchdown pass.
St. Viator 45, Marian Catholic 14: Ki-Jana Crawford had 92 yards on eight catches, including a 41-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Patrick Schmidt, but the Spartans (2-6, 0-5) lost their sixth straight game. Crawford also had an interception.
St. Viator quarterback Bobby Calmeyn was 22-of-39 passing for 263 yards and five touchdowns for the Lions (5-3, 2-3) in the East Suburban Catholic Conference game. Matthew Darling caught three touchdown passes.
Marians' Dillon Burns had 64 yards on 14 carries and scored on an 8-yard run late in the second quarter to put Marian on the board after the Lions took a 21-0 lead.
Crawford intercepted Calmeyn on the ensuing possession to put Marian back in business near midfield. But a pair of holding penalties prompted the Spartans to punt the ball away, enabling Lions to close the half with a field goal and a 24-7 lead.
Schmidt was 14-of-26 passing for 122 yards. Marian kicker Chris Taborn made good on both of his PAT attempts, remaining perfect for the season.
Andrew 49, Thornridge 7: Deonte Moses had another big rushing day for the Falcons (0-8, 0-6), compiling well over 200 yards on several big runs, but he only reached the end zone once in the SouthWest Suburban Red loss.
The Falcons will try to squeeze out a victory this season when they host long-time rival Thornton in the regular-season finale.
Andrew (5-3, 4-2) hosts Bradley-Bourbonnais.
Lincoln-Way Central 42, Thornwood 0: Quarterback Connor Campbell threw two TD passes to Erik Hart and Joe Nealon in the SouthWest Suburban Red win for the Knights (4-4, 3-3). Tyler Hosman rushed for a pair of scores.
