Bloom Township has received excellent offensive production from Johnny Griffin this season, and Friday night was no different.
Griffin led the Blazing Trojans (25-3) with 18 points in a 54-47 Class 4A Thornwood Regional championship win over Lincoln-Way North.
Dejahown Freeman added nine points; Jared Johnson pitched in eight points, and Zerell Jackson added seven points.
Daryle Morgan led Lincoln-Way North with 18 points, while Tre Lewis scored 12.
Bloom Township will play Stagg at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in one semifinal of the Thornton Sectional.
