It didn't take long for Jeremy Kravetz to know where he wanted to play his college baseball.
The Lansing resident followed the yellow brick road to Lawrence, Kan. and made his decision to commit to Kansas.
"I loved the campus, the facilities and the program," Kravetz said. "They play in one of the best conferences (Big 12) and I want to be in a program that competes at that level."
Kravetz said he had pitched in several showcases and got offers from smaller schools.
"Kansas came along and started talking to me," Kravetz said. "They were really interested in me and so I took an official visit."
His brother John, The Times 2011 Player of the Year, pitches for Illinois and the younger Kravetz said he would not mind pitching against his brother.
"That would be awesome," Jeremy Kravetz said. "I don't know if we will ever meet, but I would like to pitch against him."
