The Times No. 1 Marian Catholic boys basketball team survived the weather and Iowa Class 4A No. 1 Dubuque (Iowa) Senior Saturday night with a 68-61 win at Loras College.
Tyler Ulis just missed a double-double with 22 points and nine assists. Ki-Jana Crawford had 18 points, six rebounds and five steals for the Spartans (17-2). Josh Cohn had 12 points.
The Rams got within 64-61 on a 3-pointer from Brown recruit Kyle Haber with 18.1 seconds left.
Homewood-Flossmoor 59, Lockport 28: Lexi Smith's 13 points and seven rebounds helped lead The Times No. 1 Vikings (16-2, 10-0) to a SouthWest Suburban Blue win over the Porters.
H-F held Lockport to single-digit scoring in every quarter. After leading 8-6 after one, H-F outscored the Porters 23-7 in the second quarter to take a 31-13 halftime lead. It was 49-20 after three quarters.
Amarah Coleman had 12 points and four assists, and Jaiveonna Norris had nine points for the winners.
IHSA State Finals: Rockford Guilford won the team title with 13,107 pins at St. Clair Bowl in O'Fallon.
Andrew was second with 13,002.
Lincoln-Way West's Joshuan Glover was the individual winner with 2,967.

Postponements: The Bishop McNamara at Marian Catholic girls basketball game is tentatively rescheduled for 7 p.m. Feb. 10, according to Marian coach Dan Murray.
The T.F. North boys basketball game at the Saginaw (Mich.) Lumberjack Tournament has been rescheduled for Feb. 8, according to North coach Tim Bankston.
