The Times Breakdown: The Meteors have experience and, if they execute, can be explosive. They will also need leadership, something that was lacking last year when everything fell apart and no one stepped up. Linemen Williams, Price and Brown will play both ways and be among the keys to success. Jay Harvey is expected to be a force at defensive end. Dunigan moves to quarterback, and has a good crew of receivers in Smith, Myles Barbee and Darren Stern. The numbers are not many, so it is important that the team be in shape. This could be a winning year for the Meteors if everyone does their job.
Quote: "We need to improve as a group on our toughness. We have a shortage of numbers on the line so it is important that we improve our conditioning as well. When we are focused and ready to compete we can be a very explosive team. If we improve in these areas, this can be a successful season." — Rogers
