Stats: 16.5 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 1.4 spg, 1.2 apg
Notable: Doss was the Rebels' go-to guy and made things happen on both ends of the court. An all-South Suburban Blue pick, Doss was also the floor leader.
Johnny Griffin | Bloom Township
Stats: 12.6 ppg, 7.5 rpg
Notable: The all-Southland Athletic Conference pick was nicknamed "Johnny on the Spot" by the Blazing Trojans coaching staff, and rightly so. When Bloom needed a basket or a rebound, it seemed like Griffin was there. He was also a good defensive player made some big stops. Known for his slam dunks, he is getting looks from several College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin schools.
Maurius Hill | Homewood-Flossmoor
Stats: 13.2 ppg, 9.9 rpg.
Notable: Hill played in all 26 games, was named to the Chicago Heights Classic team and was strong inside against bigger players. He was also named to the SouthWest Suburban Blue Conference team.
Marvie Keith | Crete-Monee
Stats: 16.0 ppg, 4.0 apg
Notable: Keith ran the show, though he missed some games with a concussion. The four-year starter had 40 3-pointers, but also became more of a distributor of the ball this season.
Mack Newson | Illinois Lutheran
Stats: 16.0 ppg, 4.0 apg, 2.1 spg
Notable: He was an all-River Valley Conference pick and the Chargers most valuable player. He was instrumental in their trek to the Class 1A Newark Regional final. He scored in double figures in 20 of the team's 24 games.
Christian Searles | Mount Carmel
Stats: 18.2 ppg, 2.7 spg
Notable: Searles was the Caravan's best player and was named to the Chicago Catholic League North's first team as well as making the Pekin Holiday Tournament team. He shot 78 percent from the free-throw line (98 of 125) and 38 percent (45 of 119) from beyond the 3-point line. He also had 57 steals.
Kamal Shasi | Seton Academy
Stats: 9.7 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 4.1 apg, 1.5 spg
Notable: An Illinois Basketball Coaches Association third-team all-state selection, Shasi was a leader along with teammate Mark Weems Jr. He was instrumental in the Sting's Class 2A runner-up season and was one of the top guards in the state.
Donte Thomas | Thornwood
Stats: 15.0 ppg, 8.0 rpg, 2.0 apg
Notable: Thomas was a SouthWest Suburban Red selection and almost single-handedly led the Thunderbirds to an upset against Bloom Township in the Class 4A Thornwood Regional semifinal. He can score, rebound and pass. Next year, he could be an all-state candidate.
Tyler Ulis | Marian Catholic
Stats: 21.9 ppg, 4.8 apg, 3.6 rpg, 2.8 spg
Notable: The Times Player of the Year was also an Associated Press Class 4A second-team pick and the East Suburban Catholic Conference player of the year. He did it all, including getting his teammates involved in the game. He was an 86 percent shooter (214 of 249) from the free-throw line and shot 54 percent (157 of 293) from the field. Several colleges are looking at the junior.
Mark Weems Jr. | Seton Academy
Stats: 17.7 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 3.0 apg, 1.2 spg
Notable: He made it go for the Sting. He was an Illinois Basketball Coaches Association and Associated Press first-team all-state pick. When a game needed to be taken over, Weems did it. His absence was felt in the Class 2A state final when Seton needed a go-to guy down the stretch. He was an all-Catholic League South pick
Nick Wood | T.F. North
Stats: 11.1 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 1.5 spg
Notable: Wood was named to the South Suburban Blue team. He was a three-year starter for coach Tim Bankston and did what he needed to for the Meteors to win. He used his height to get inside, but he could also hit the jumper.
Antonio Woods | Thornridge
Stats: 17.0 ppg
Notable: Woods was the Falcons leading scorer and his hot hand kept them in many games.
Ki-Jana Crawford | Marian Catholic | 5-8 | Jr. | G
Stats: 7.2 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 2.3 spg, 1.9 apg
Notable: Crawford went up against Ulis everyday in practice and many times guarded the opponent's top scorer. He did a little of everything for the Spartans.
D.J. Deere | T.F. North | 5-8 | Sr. | G
Stats: 12.0 ppg, 4.0 apg, 1.6 spg
Notable: He ran the show for the Meteors and was their best defensive player. He didn't let his 5-8 stature stop him from going against bigger players.
Austin Dunbar | Thornridge | 6-2 | Sr. | F
Stats: 14.0 ppg, 9.1 rpg
Notable: He played inside, but also had a nice shot. He managed to grab his share of boards.
Alex Foster | Seton Academy | 6-8 | Sr. |C/F
Stats: 10.5 ppg, 6.8 rpg
Notable: The Minnesota recruit was an Associated Press first-team all-state pick and gave Seton a strong inside presence.
Zerell Jackson | Bloom Township | 5-9 | Jr. | G
Stats: 7.8 ppg
Notable: Jackson ran the floor and is a two-year varsity player. He hit a 15-foot, buzzer-beating floater to beat Homewood-Flossmoor. "Zeke" stepped up and filled the need at guard for the Blazing Trojans. He was also a top running back on the Blazing Trojans' playoff football team.

Stats: 12.3 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 4.3 apg, 1.5 spg
Notable: Jonkman led the team in rebounds with 160, but his ability to get hot at the right time was a big plus

Notable: King was the Bobcats' top scorer in what was a tough season.

Notable: A three-year starter, Martin was the Vikings best all-around player and helped lead them to a regional final.
