1. Marian Catholic 21-3 (1)
Tyler Ulis hit the game-winner in a big win over Brother Rice. They are not the biggest team on the floor, but they play team basketball and they play hard. Joliet Catholic comes to town tonight.
2. Bloom Township 17-3 (2)
The Blazing Trojans are on a seven-game winning streak and face upset-minded Rich East tonight. Their last loss was in December to Marian in the McDipper final.
3. Homewood-Flossmoor 14-5 (4)
Marius Hill and Ricky Bullock came up big in an overtime win Tuesday over Joliet West. A tough road game tonight at Lockport.
4. T.F. North 16-6 (3)
The Meteors looked bad against Hillcrest, but will be ready tonight when they play District 215 rival T.F. South
5. Seton Academy 14-9 (NR)
The Sting have played a tough schedule and face a good Bishop McNamara team tonight. They have one of the best guard tandems in the state in Kamal Shasi and Mark Weems Jr.
Girls
1. Marian Catholic 23-1 (1)
The Spartans are rolling as the postseason approaches. Ashton Millender has been unstoppable.
2. Bloom Township 16-6 (2)
Bria Gaies was expected to go over the 1,500-point mark Thursday. It can be an interesting postseason for the Blazing Trojans.
3. Crete-Monee 23-2 (3)
Their two losses are to Rich South and Bloom Township. Ashley Henry is expected to have a big postseason.
4. Homewood-Flossmoor 14-8 (4)
The talent level is solid and the Vikings are starting to put it together.
5. Thornwood 14-7 (5)
The program is back on the right track and the Thunderbirds have worked hard to get where they are.
