(Last year's record in prarentheses)
1. Marian Catholic (29-4)
The Spartans were one win away from a trip to Peoria and worked hard in the offseason. Kentucky recruit and Times Player of the Year Tyler Ulis leads a team that returns all five starters.
2. Thornton (16-14)
The Wildcats return a talented senior class and are ready to make a postseason run.
3. Bloom Township (26-4)
New coach Ron Ashlaw has a good nucleus in Zerell Jackson, Jared Johnson and James Coleman. The Blazing Trojans will be tested with a tough schedule.
4. Thornwood (13-15)
Bradley recruit Donte Thomas leads a group which includes a pair of transfers. This team will be a force in the SouthWest Suburban Red.
5. Homewood-Flossmoor (21-6)
Tai Odiase, a UIC recruit, is the lone returning regular, but this team has size and tradition.
