Marian Catholic boys basketball star Tyler Ulis will will make a verbal commitment Friday at the Carmel Catholic-Marian Catholic football game, according to Spartans coach Mike Taylor.
Taylor said the announcement will come after the coin flip of the scheduled 7:30 p.m. kickoff in Chiago Heights. Ulis' final three choices are Iowa, Kentucky and Michigan State. The 5-foot-8 guard visited Kentucky over the weekend.
"He's got three good schools," Taylor said.
Ulis' voice mail was full, and he did not return a text message Wednesday. His dad, John, could not be reached for comment.
