Nina Bertrand (26 points) and Ren'Cia Rolling (25) combined for 51 points as the T.F. South girls basketball team routed Joliet West 71-48 in Monday's Bradley-Bourbonnais Tournament.
India Pierson added 11 for the Rebels, who outscored Joliet West 24-10 in the third quarter to break the game open.
Following that game, Bertrand's 11 points led the Rebels (9-1) to a 51-33 win over Thornwood.
Rolling added eight points, while India Pierson hauled in nine rebounds to help the Rebels take a 33-17 lead at halftime.
Thornwood lost its first game, 45-26 to Peotone, as Janeah Stewart led the Thunderbirds with eight points.
Thornridge lost both of its games, falling 49-45 in overtime to Romeoville. Raven Watts' 3-pointer with 1 second left sent the game into overtime. JayShari Chears' 13 points led the Falcons.
In the second game, Eisenhower top the Falcons 51-46 as Jacarra Hogan's 13 points led the Falcons (1-8). Watts had nine points and 11 rebounds. Camille Taylor had 13 rebounds.
In their first game of the Bradley-Bourbonnais Holiday Tournament, Thornridge lost 49-45 in overtime in what turned out to be an exciting contest.
Raven Watts scored a three-point basket with :01 to go in regulation to send the game into OT. JayShari Chears lead the Falcons with 13 points and Camille Taylor finished with five steals and seven rebounds.
Marian Catholic 71, St. Joseph 36: Teniya Page's 15 points and Ashton Millender's 12 led the No. 2 Spartans (10-2) to the win at the Montini Christmas tourney.
Thornridge 49, Harlem 41: Carly Henry's 14 points led the Falcons (3-10) at the Chuck Dayton Holiday Tournament in DeKalb.
Rockford East 88, St. Francis de Sales 47: The Pioneers dressed just six players in falling to the E-Rabs at the Elgin Holiday Tournament.
