North Newton 6, Rensselaer 3: Spartans pitcher Aubrey Spencer struck out five batters in a solid effort off the mound.

Chesterton 9, Hebron 0: Megan Tymorek tossed a four-hit shutout, striking out 16 for the Trojans (5-0). Sydney Cooley and Megan Matheny each homered, combining for five hits and five RBIs, while Mallory McKee added two hits and two RBIs for Chesterton. Rachel Pauer picked up two hits for the Hawks (0-1).
Boone Grove 12, Westville 2: Beth Piotrowski pitched 5 2/3 innings with two strikeouts for the Blackhawks, but Boone Grove broke the game open in the late innings.
