Cierra Charbonneau doubled in the first run before Angelica Justiniano drove her home for what proved to be the game-winner.
Justiniano also got the win on the "circle" after scattering six hits through seven innings. She improved to 4-2 while Morton improved to 11-3.
The Times No. 4 Panthers fell to 8-4.
Kankakee Valley 17, Rensselaer 0 (5 inn.): The Times No. 8 Kougars starter Taurie Piatt and reliever Mia Stevens combined for a five-inning no-hitter.
Lauren Stokes was 4-for-5 with a double and three runs, Alyssa Matson was 3-for-4 with two RBIs, and Maribeth Strong was 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Kankakee Valley (10-4).
Hanover Central 14, Washington Twp. 0: Ashley Yoways struck out 10 and threw a one-hitter to lead the Wildcats (7-5, 3-0) in the Porter County Conference tilt. Yoways also went 3-for-4 with a double and one run scored. Melissa Balkema was 3-for-4 with four runs scored with a double and two RBIs. Ivy Dawson was 4-for-4 with two doubles and a three-run home run. The junior also hit a 3-run homer. Alyssa Howard was 3-for-3 with two RBIs and one run scored.
Hebron 10, Kouts 0: Maggie Lindemann struck out six and fired a no-hitter to lead the Hawks to the home win. Bre Lewin went 2-for-4 with three runs scored. Rachel Pauer, Katie Clemens and Bri Spicer all two hits in the win and Haley Hernandez scored twice.
Michigan City 11, Merrillville 3: The Pirates' Julie Ross went 1-for-4 with one RBI in the loss.
Morgan Township 11, LaCrosse 0: The Cherokees (7-5, 3-2) picked up the PCC win as Kari Gourley went 3-for-3 and Alexis Marquart went 2-for-3 with four RBIs. Kaley Lauder struck out nine and also went 2-for-3.
Valparaiso 7, LaPorte 3: The Vikings (10-7, 5-4) picked up the DAC win as Anna Beischer went 3-for-4 with three RBIs. Olivia Vinyard went 3-for-4 and Abbey Thomas added two hits in the win.
Westville 13, West Central 6: The Blackhawks got two hits from Shaina Jacks, Katie Piotrowski, Beth Piotrowski and Machala Schrader, who also had two RBIs, as did teammate Danielle Beravit.
Whiting 2, Lake Station 0: The Times No. 9 Oilers (9-1, 7-1) picked up the GSSC win as Mollie Lovasko struck out 15. Destiny Smith went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Alex Danielides added two hits and Jessica Butler and Michaela Brown each had a RBI and run, respectively.
Hobart 4, Lowell 2: CJ Komosa struck out 12 and yielded one earned run while going the distance for the Times No. 8 Brickies.
Nick Bokun was 2-for-4 with home run, two RBIs and two runs; Brandon Murray was 2-for-4 with a double, triple and an RBI; and Tyler Kenjic was 2-for-3 for Hobart (11-6, 5-2 Northwest Crossroads Conference).
Munster 7, Kankakee Valley 6: Nick Marlow hit a walk-off, pinch-hit double in the bottom of the seventh to drive in Alex Coccia as the winning run for Munster (11-5, 5-2 NCC).
Coccia was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs; Craig Dedelow was 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBIs and two runs; Alex DelRio was 2-for-3 with a double; and Mike Mueller had two hits for Mustangs, who had to withstand a fourth-inning grand-slam by Matt Myers, which gave the Kougars a 5-1 lead at the time.
Anthony Clindenen doubled and homered for K.V. (6-10, 1-8).
Andrean 8, Highland 1: The Times No. 1 59ers (16-0, 7-0) got a tag-team shutout by Joe Plesac and Parker Huttel. Andrean's Zac Ryan homered, drove in two runs and scored two more. Plesac was 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Jeremy Wright went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Highland (6-7, 3-4) was led by Alex Smith's hit and RBI.
Boone Grove 6, South Central 3: The Times No. 7 Wolves (12-2, 3-1) picked up the PCC win as Dean Hill went the distance with seven strikeouts and two RBIs. Jason Sawa and Jake Wright each doubled for Boone and Sawa added two RBIs. For South Central, J.T. Snyder was one of three players with two hits.

Marquette Catholic 13, Oregon-Davis 7: The Blazers' Tommy Anderson had two hits and two RBIs, while teammates Ambrose Haas, Bryce Freels, Dan Miller and Patrick Cannon each had one RBI.
Morgan Township 17, LaCrosse 0: The Cherokees' Austin Porter struck out seven in recording the five-inning no-hitter in PCC play. Morgan (9-4, 3-2) was led by Jake Koeslke, who went 3-for-3 with two runs. Teammate Joe Dougherty doubled while going 2-for-2 with two RBIs. Bo Anderson also had two hits and two RBIs. Austin Abbott also had two RBIs. Ryan Klikus, Porter and Nick Connor had two hits for Morgan.
River Forest 5, Lake Station 3: The Ingots' O'Shea Owens went 2-for-4 and two runs scored and Gino Flores added two hits in picking up the GSSC win. The Eagles (6-8, 3-4) were led by Chris Szoztek, who was 3-for-3 with two RBIs.
Valparaiso 8, LaPorte 3: The Vikings (7-4, 4-2) picked up the DAC win as Stephen Simms went 2-for-4, C.J. Gear went 4-for-4, Sam Miller went 2-for-4 and Ethan Lehnen scored twice. The Slicers (7-10, 1-5) were led by Ben Saliwanchik, who was 2-for-3 with two runs scored.
West Lafayette 16, Rensselaer 4: The Bombers (4-13, 0-7) lost their Hoosier Conference game, but Jake Steinke went 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI. Teammate Ryan Lattimore hit a home run in the game.
Whiting 10, Clark 0 (5 innings): Nick Filipek struck out 11 and fired a one-hitter to lead the Oilers (6-4) to the win. A.J. Veloz went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, Justin Jendreas went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI and Mitch Alicia Mitch Alicia had a hit, one RBI and scored two runs to beat the Pioneers (4-7).
