Times No. 1 Munster topped Wheeler 25-19, 25-17, 25-17 in girls volleyball action Monday as Toni DellaCarbonare had 10 kills and two aces to pace the Mustangs.

Bitsy Kloos and Victoria Foster each contributed eight kills for the Mustangs.

Chesterton 25-25-28, Hobart 22-20-26: Aubrey Nadgeman's nine kills led The Times No. 9 Trojans (12-7) to the nonconference win over the Brickies.

Jordyn Moleski and Shelby Snyder had four aces each. Jessica Urycki and Sammi Ostrom had six kills each.

Zoe Wilson led Hobart with nine kills, two aces and three blocks. Geena Lammertin added 11 assists.

Lake Station 25-25-25, Clark 11-18-16: Arianna Thomas' seven kills led the Eagles (6-1) past the Pioneers.

Joanna Dwyer had two aces and three kills, while Tristan Majka had 13 assists.

Clark's Tique Wodds had five kills and five digs.

North Judson 25-25-25, North Newton 21-19-13: Ashley Kottka had three aces and Monica Drinski had five kills for the Spartans in the loss to the Bluejays.

 

Boys cross country

Hebron 17, LaCrosse 46: Hebron's Erik Brebner, Daniel Clemens and Michael MacNeill went 1-2-3 for a Porter County Conference win.

Morgan Township 22, Kouts 33; Morgan Township 21, South Central 35; Kouts 27, South Central 28: Ben Savage and Logan Redmon went 1-2 for the Cherokees in their double victory. Bryan Flannery was third for the Satellites with the Mustangs' Mike Ferrell fourth.

Westville 15, Boone Grove INC; Washington Township 15, Boone Grove INC; Washington Township 19, Westville 40: Runner-up Noah Masson paced the Senators, who put five in the top seven for the PCC sweep. Jon Hogg finished first for the Wolves, who were one runner short of a team score.

 

Girls cross country

Hebron 15, LaCrosse 50: Hebron took the top five spots (Abby Getautas, Lexie Schatz, Christa Bontempo, Liz Fox and Natalie Egolf) in a PCC victory.

Morgan Township 25, Kouts 30; South Central 25, Kouts 31; South Central 26, Morgan Township 30: The Satellites slipped past the Fillies and Cherokees behind race winner Kyleigh Werner. Morgan freshman Hailey Haveck took second with Kouts' Kylie Kuebler third.

Westville 15, Boone Grove INC; Westville 15, Washington Township INC: The Blackhawks prevailed by virtue of having a full complement of runners. Liz Masson placed first, but was the Senators' only entrant. The Wolves took the next four spots, led by Mariah Rodriguez, but were one girl shy of a team score.

 

Boys tennis

Highland 5, Calumet 0: The Trojans (8-8) blanked the Warriors (5-10), as Andres Campos and Luke Turoci recorded a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles to pace Highland.

 

Boys soccer

Boone Grove 4, Lowell 1: Austin Aguilera scored two goals to lead the Wolves past the Red Devils.

 

Girls soccer

Boone Grove 9, Washington Township 1: Olivia McCafferty led the Wolves' onslaught of the Senators with two goals and two assists. Emily Martinez also scored twice for Boone (9-4, 2-1 PCC).

Wheeler 3, Rensselaer 1: Terra Philips scored twice to lift the Bearcats (13-1-2) over the Bombers.
