Marian Catholic swimmers Abby Kresal and Page Wieser both qualified from Saturday's Lincoln-Way East Sectional.
They will compete in next weekend's state meet at Evanston Township High School.
Kresal finished second in both the 200-yard individual medley (2 minutes, 9.15 seconds) and 100 backstroke (1:06.72), but hit the state qualifying times in each event.
Wieser won the 100 freestyle in 54.56 seconds. As a team, the Spartans were third. It was Marian's best finish in a sectional in the program's history.
