Anthony Murphy's 11 points led Griffith to a 58-32 victory over Rensselaer on Saturday for the Panthers' third consecutive win.
Flint Powell and Rodney Lewis had nine points each for Griffith (9-8).
The Bombers (7-11) dropped their third straight game and were led by Dane Brooks' nine points.
Westville 59, Culver Community 52: Shawn Gerron led four players in double figures with 18 points as the visiting Blackhawks (7-9) upended the Cavaliers (11-7). Dylan Perney added 10 points and 10 rebounds; Alex Henn had 11 points and four assists, and Collin Walker had 11 points for Westville.
Gymnastics
Slicers Sweetheart Invitational: LaPorte's Hannah Sightes compiled an all-around score of 36.8 to help the Slicers compile 106.95 points and earn first place.
Sydney Rusboldt (32.8) and Melanie Smith (32.25) also chipped in solid scores for LaPorte.
Hobart finished last out of three teams (93.850), getting a 32.15 all-around score from Madalyn Dominguez.
Girls basketball
Hoosier Basketball names Top 100: Hoosier Basketball magazine has announced its Top 100 list, the group from which the Indiana All-Star team will be determined. The number will be pared to 60 over the balance of the season, with a Top 60 workout to be held March 10 at Marian University in Indianapolis.
Local players chosen for the Top 100 are Katie Bobos, Lowell; Keshyana Cooper, Michigan City; Nicki Monahan, Portage; Dariyan Morris, Merrillville; Toni Murphy, Michigan City; Blayr Poston, Hanover Central; Dariyelle Ricks, E.C. Central; Laura Tonner, Rensselaer, and Emilie Ziese, Rensselaer.
