Hebron 12, Hammond 2: Bryce Hanaway doubled twice, scored three runs and knocked in three in the Hawks' rout. Jon Moneta, Jarrett Majcher (two runs) and Donavon Friel all chipped in two hits.

Wheeler 10-15, River Forest 1-4: Wheeler (6-8, 5-3) collected 36 hits in a Greater South Shore Conference doubleheader sweep of the Ingots.
Sam Bolla was 6-for-8 with two stolen bases, and Austin Whitaker drove in three runs and hit a homer in the first game. Tyler Crussen was 5-for-10 over both games with two doubles.
Boone Grove 11, LaCrosse 1: Jake Wright, Dean Hill, Jon Hogg, Kyle Erickson and Jake Gholston all contributed two hits in the Wolves' six-inning Porter County Conference victory. Gholston, Erickson and Hill all knocked in two runs. Hill threw four scoreless innings to improve to 7-0 for Boone (13-4, 4-3).
Morgan Township 9-6, North Judson 0-5: Adam Rettinger and Ryan Klikus combined on a shutout in the opener, while Bo Anderson's bases-loaded walk in the seventh inning gave the Cherokees (12-6) a sweep. Nick Connor picked up two hits in the first game, as did Jake Koselke in the second.
Gavit 11, Calumet 1: Shelby Geurts struck out seven in five innings to help the Gladiators rout the Warriors. Amber Earl drove in three runs, while teammate Kristin Alamillo knocked in two.
Hebron 7, Bishop Noll 1: Kyle Doelling doubled twice in four at-bats, scored twice and drove in two runs for the Hawks. Rachel Pauer and Audrey Sutherland each went 2-for-3 for Hebron.
Morgan Township 8-9, South Bend Washington 6-5: The visiting Cherokees (11-6) overcame 22 combined errors – 14 in the opener – and swept the Panthers. Kaley Lauder and Rory Rankin each picked up complete-game wins. Nicole Toth was 2-for-3 with a run scored in the opener. Hannah Duszynski had a double, triple and run scored in the nightcap; Erica Penner had three hits, while Lauder, Morgan Lippens and Leslie Rassel had two hits each.
Westville 11, River Forest 1: McKenzie Gardner was 4-for-4 as the Blackhawks crushed the Ingots. Katie Piotrowski struck out four, allowing two hits, and went 2-for-4.

Lafayette Jeff Booster Invitational: John Kelley topped Chesterton with a 75 at Battle Ground Golf Club, helping the Trojans finish fourth with a 315. Brandon Martin and Zach Von Huben carded 78s for Chesterton.
Aaron Skibinski and Noah Nieman turned in 76s to lead sixth-place Michigan City (328).
Crown Point's Mike Lee shot an 80 for eighth-place Crown Point (331).
Indianapolis Cathedral tournament: Austin Wayne's 33 kills, 12 digs and eight aces helped the top-ranked Hebron boys volleyball team to a four-match sweep of No. 2 Roncalli, No. 3 Cathedral, No. 4 Franklin and No. 10 Center Grove at the Indianapolis Cathedral tournament.
Spencer Sheets contributed 43 kills, eight aces and four block kills, while Trey Biggs posted 89 assists, four block kills and three aces for the Hawks (20-1).
