There would be no miracle comeback for South Central this time around.
Defending champion Lakewood Park Christian (23-5) jumped in front of the Satellites and rolled to an 8-1 victory in its Class A regional Tuesday in Auburn.
"Anything's possible. We proved that one," S.C. junior Kayla Pritchard said, recalling Saturday's sectional championship comeback. "This team never gets down. There's always hope. Every team has its on nights and I think they were pretty on tonight, and it just wasn't our night."
The Satellites bow out of the season at 18-12.
"We'll definitely work hard," Pritchard said. "We want to get that regional next year."
