Munster wins 27th consecuitve sectional crown
Munster won only two events Saturday but used its depth to take home a 27th consecutive boys swimming and diving sectional title.
The host Seahorses defeated Lake Central 429-391 for the crown.
Munster freshman James Beckham won the 200-yard individual medley (1:58.84), while diver Sean Cloghessy captured his title with 388.05 points.
Highland's Adam Johnston won both the 50 free (20.51) and 100 free (45.88), while teammate Christopher Dabkowski won the 500 free (4:47.05). Highland also won the 200 free and 400 free relays.
Crown Point's Daniel Kvachkoff won the 100 fly (52.72), while teammate Mike Kukurugya took the 100 back (52.52). The Bulldogs also won the 200 medley relay.
Luke Paprocki captured the 200 free (1:46.19) for L.C., while Lowell's Connor Wood won the 100 breast (1:00.05).
