Kat Strong led Bloom Township with 25 points, including four 3-pointers, to help give the Blazing Trojans a 59-50 win over Crete-Monee on Thursday.
Bria Gaines added 21 points.
Ashley Henry and Lindzy Cox paced the Warriors with 16 points apiece.
Beecher 71, Donovan 33: Beecher held a 36-27 halftime lead, but the Ladycats shut down Donovan in the second half in a lopsided win.
Danielle Snuckel led Beecher with 20 points, while Sam Pilbeam added 12 points. The Ladycats broke the game open with a 27-2 third quarter.
Heritage Christian 35, Illinois Lutheran 12: The Sting couldn't get much offense going, as Caroline Kuether led her team with five points.
Heritage Christian outscored the Sting 17-1 in the fourth quarter.
Homewood-Flossmoor 62, Sandburg 21: Candace Hicks recorded a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds to help give the Vikings (15-9) an easy win.
Sydni Johnson scored 16 for H-F.
Boys basketball
Illinois Lutheran 65, Heritage Christian 45: Collin Borns led five Chargers (13-6) in double figures, scoring 14 points in the rout.
Austin Wood (13), Sam Geraci (11), Mack Newson (10) and Matt Carter (10) joined Borns in the balanced attack.
Game time changed: Saturday's Chicago Leo at Bloom Township varsity boys basketball game will be played at 2 p.m. in Bloom's M'Cann Gym. Sophomores will play at noon.
