Both the T.F. South and T.F. North girls basketball teams picked up their first wins of the season on Thursday.
Kaitlin Togtman had 13 points and Kameron Dickens had 12 as South beat Eisenhower 47-37.
Togtman made three 3-pointers, while Jessica Majors had six rebounds and Kaneisha McIntosh had four steals. Teosha Rolling and Dickens had two assists each for the Rebels (1-3, 1-0 South Suburban Blue).
T.F. North got first-year coach Chris Pruitt her first win as it beat Evergreen Park 53-36.
Lincoln-Way North 44, Homewood-Flossmoor 42: Sydni Johnson led the Vikings (5-2) with 14 points, but it wasn't enough as the Phoenix held on for the tight win.
Crete-Monee 75, Rich East 28: The Warriors (7-0, 1-0) were led by Lindzy Cox's 22 points in the Southland Athletic Conference rout.
Ashley Henry added 11 points and 12 rebounds and was joined in a double-double effort by Marsha Howard, who put up 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Beecher 56, Gardner South Wilmington 40: Ashley Carroll led the Ladycats with 14 points, while Danielle Snuckel added 11 in the win. Beecher outscored Gardner South Wilmington 20-7 in the third quarter to pull away.
Boys Basketball
St. Joseph 77, St. Francis de Sales 59: Cornelius McIntosh had 16 points for the Pioneers (1-4, 0-1 Catholic League South) in the loss to the Chargers (4-1, 1-0 Catholic League North).
Jawaan Avant had 12 points and Rontez Allan-Shabazz had five assists and two steals. Raashod Fenner had six points and five rebounds.
Girls Bowling
T.F. South 1,819, Richards 1,430: Shannon Pollard's 397 series and Lauren hart's 393 led the Rebels to the win over the Bulldogs.
Pollard had games of 206 and 191, while Hart rolled a 202 and 191.
Chartiy Bickom had a 385 series, while Callie Barnum (336) and Kayla Garcia (308) closed out the scoring.
Boys Bowling
Hillcrest 1,879, T.F. North 1,814: Javon Brown's 467 series and 234 high game led the Meteors in the South Suburban Blue loss at Castaways.
Dennis Minefee had a 376 series and Juan Gutierrez a 335.
