Chesterton-K.V. game up in the air: Thursday's match between Times No. 1 Chesterton and No. 3 Kankakee Valley was not played Thursday due to inclement weather. The junior varsity game was halted due to lightning around 5:30 p.m.
The two schools will make a determination today whether the game will be rescheduled.
"There’s no guarantee because of the schedules," said John Gray, K.V.’s acting athletic director.
Because it’s not a conference match, the game might not be made up if a suitable date can’t be agreed upon. — Christopher Breach
