Four multi-talented track athletes and a combined total of 15 Indiana high school state championships.
That's Hall of Fame stuff, for sure.
Friday night in Indianapolis, Wirt's Greg Allen, Lew Wallace's Sariyu Shittu-Suggs, Roosevelt's Rich Calloway and Portage's Michael Taylor join a class of eight inductees at the Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches Hall of Fame.
The banquet is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Sheraton Hotel at Keystone at the Crossing in Indianapolis.
"I'm still excited and anxious to see who'll be there," said Taylor, who's bringing along wife Mallory, parents Tom and Judy, and mother-in-law Kathy Goin.
"Ironically, Greg Allen works at the same place as I do -- US Steel -- and he's right across the street. We haven't met, though. We work different shifts so I don't get to see him."
That'll all change Friday night.
