Tyler Streeter led three players in double figures with 18 points as the St. Francis de Sales boys basketball team beat Serena 73-39 in one quarterfinal of the Class 1A Serena Regional.
The Pioneers (7-22) will face Illinois Lutheran, a 77-37 winner over Bridgeview Universal, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in one semifinal.
Derrick Dawson had 15 points, while Jawaan Avant added 12 points.
Illinois Lutheran (18-6) had four players In double figures. Collin Borns led the way with 14 points and Sam Geraci had 13. Mack Newson had 12 and Austin Wood added 11.
Class 2A Reed-Custer Regional: Beecher beat Dwight 68-52.
Thornridge 64, Lincoln-Way West 51: Antonio Woods led the Falcons with 17 points in the SouthWest Suburban Conference win.
Greg Meyers added 13 points for Thornridge, while Austin Dunbar chipped in 10 points and eight rebounds.
Thornton 50, Lincoln-Way North 45: Justin Taylor led the Wildcats with 13 points and 11 rebounds in the SouthWest Suburban Conference win.
Rayshoun Bruce added 11 points for Thornton (13-10, 11-2).
Homewood-Flossmoor 69, Lincoln-Way Central 52: Rashaan Surles' 20 points led the Vikings (20-5) to the win.
