Colin Burton scored 19 points Tuesday night to help Washington Township gain a share of first place in the Porter County Conference with a 69-34 win over South Central.

Lowell 78, Rensselaer 63: Nine players scored for Lowell in the Senior Night win, led by 18 from Dustin Hudak.

Noah Durr chipped in 14 and Chris Mantis added 11 for the Red Devils (11-11).

River Forest 63, Kouts 57: Joseph Rembert scored 25 points to pace the Ingots (10-11) in the nonconference matchup.

Jalen Perkins chipped in 12 points as Ryan Lafollette added 11 for River Forest.

Early sectional passes to be sold at L.C.: The Lake Central athletic department will sell early passes to the Sectional 1 games from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday. To purchase passes, enter the school through door "B."

The pass will allow entrance to the entire tournament, which begins Feb. 27.

Chesterton Sectional tickets on sale at Valparaiso: Class 4A Chesterton Sectional basketball tickets are on sale in the Valparaiso High School athletic office (enter Door 5) from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and Feb. 26-27. The cash-only season tickets are $10 each.
