The Crete-Monee football team was named the Comcast SportsNet Muscle Milk Team of the week for its 42-6 win over Ottawa.
The Warriors advanced to the Class 6A semifinals for the first time in program history.
Crete-Monee is trying to get fan buses for its Class 6A semifinal game at Lemont. The game is at 6 p.m. Saturday. Cost is $8 for students, $10 adults, faculty and staff. This includes the $6 ticket to the game.

Playoff tickets on sale: Mount Carmel is selling tickets to its Class 8A playoff game at Neuqua Valley.
The game is at 6 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $6 each and can be purchased at the school until Friday.
