WEDNESDAY'S PREP ROUNDUP: Morton laps Lowell in boys swimming

Brock Daniels had quite a night for Morton in the Governors' 96-82 win over Lowell in boys swimming Wednesday night.

Daniels was part of Morton's 200 medley relay team, won the 200 and 500 free individual races, and before driving home, he was part of the Governors' 200 free relay winning team.

Morton's Connor Davidson also was part of four wins, taking first in the 50 and 100 free.

Lowell's Connor Wood took first in the 200 IM and 100 breast.

Wheeler 97, LaPorte 72: The Bearcats made the drive east and came away with a nice win. Wheeler's Brandon Bolde won the 200 free, 100 fly and was a member of the 200 and 400 free relays.

Christian Koch captured the 500 free for Wheeler, and teammate Luke Metzger took home gold in the 100 breast.

Girls Basketball

Andrean 44, Bishop Noll 27: Shey Irvin scored 11 points, and Maddie Lesch added 10 to lift the 59ers (3-19) over the Warriors.

Milana Golich topped Noll (10-9) with eight points.
