University of Illinois-Chicago men's basketball coach Howard Moore will be the featured speaker at the 60th annual Sportsmanship Dinner, scheduled Feb. 24 at the Halls of St. George in Schererville.
Assistant UIC coach and former Indiana University player Stew Robinson will be accompanying Moore, and IHSAA Commissioner Bobby Cox will also appear.
UIC's 2013-14 roster features senior forward Hayden Humes of Valparaiso.
This year, more than 25 high school teams competing in five boys sectionals will be honored at the dinner, including their coaches.
A crowd of about 800 patron sponsors and guests is expected for the dinner, which is by reservation only and begins at 6:30 p.m. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Meet the Vikes Night Saturday: Meet the Vikes Night will take place at Saturday's Munster-Valparaiso game. The junior varsity game will start at 6 p.m., and the varsity will follow at 7:30. Valpo players will be available for autographs after the game.
