Belmonte shines at Wooden Bat Championships

JUPITER, FLA. | St. Rita sophomore and Munster resident Stefano Belmonte hit .545 in five games for Bo Jackson Midwest at the Perfect Game USA World Wooden Bat Association Championships. The tournament showcased some of the top high school players in the world.

Chicago Comets holding volleyball tryouts

CHICAGO | The Chicago Comets are holding tryouts for girls in grades 6-8 and grades 9-12 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Nov. 9 and Nov. 11 at the De La Salle Institute's Parmer Activity Center in Chicago. Registration begins at 6 p.m. Cost is $15, which must be paid in cash or checks made payable to the Chicago Comets Volleyball Club.
