DETROIT | The Saint Xavier University cheerleading squad took first place in the Collegiate Small Co-Ed Cheer Division of the JAMLive! Competition held Saturday at the Cobo Center in Detroit. The SXU cheerleaders defeated 12 other collegiate teams from around the nation.
Fitness and Health Expo coming to SSC

ASEP coaching clinic at Thornwood High School
SOUTH HOLLAND | The Illinois High School Association has sanctioned an ASEP Coaching Certification Course at Thornwood High School on Sunday. The course will consist of a seven-hour coaching principles clinic and a three-hour First Aid clinic. After successfully completeing the course requirements, each coach will be recognized with a diploma from the American Sport Education Program. Completing the course requirements also satisfies the IHSA and IHSAA criteria for non-teachers to coach at the high school level.
