BUSCH WINS TRUCKS RACE: Kyle Busch used a generous bump from teammate Aric Almirola a few hundred yards from the finish to win the NASCAR Camping World Trucks race at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday.
Busch and Almirola pulled wide behind leader Todd Bodine on the final lap and Almirola nudged Busch's No. 51 Billy Ballew Motorsports Toyota to the front. They overtook Bodine just before the finish line in fading daylight at the 2.66-mile oval.
The win was Busch's sixth in the Trucks series this season and his fourth in his last four starts.
Bodine, looking for his fifth consecutive win in a restrictor-plate race, was third. Terry Cook was fourth, followed by David Starr.
Busch had endured some tough luck in the last few restrictor-plate stops, including a third-place finish at Talladega last year when Bodine bumped him out of the way on the final lap.

PGA'S VIKING CLASSIC CANCELED: PGA Tour officials canceled the weather-stricken Viking Classic on Saturday because of unplayable course conditions.
There will be no makeup date and players will move on to the final event of the season, the Children's Miracle Network Classic on Nov. 12-15 in Orlando, Fla.
Annandale Golf Club received 1.75 inches of rain overnight Friday and Saturday, completely soaking an already marginal course that had areas of standing water and large tracts of mud.
"I told them this was closer to a FEMA disaster site than a golf course," tournament director Randy Watkins said. "Somebody asked if you could play somewhere else. I don't think you could play golf within 150 miles of here."
Officials postponed, then canceled play Thursday and Friday mornings after nearly constant rain. There had been hope officials might shorten the tournament to 54 holes and play next week or weekend, but groundskeepers don't think the course will dry out that quickly.
In other pro golf news, Ian Poulter was 4 over through six holes Saturday in the third round of the Singapore Open, dropping the Englishman into a tie for the Singapore Open lead with France's Thomas Levet and Japan's Kodai Ichihara.
Poulter, five strokes ahead after completing a second-round 64 in the morning, faltered in the afternoon to fall to 8 under before thunderstorms stopped play.
Also, Joey Sindelar withdrew from the Charles Schwab Cup Championship and was taken to a hospital after complaining of dizziness during the third round.
Also, Ross Fisher beat Masters champion Angel Cabrera on the third playoff hole Saturday to set up a World Match Play Championship final against Anthony Kim.
Fisher won 1-up after Cabrera needed five shots to reach the green on the final hole. Fisher had sent his second shot from 244 yards within 5 feet of the pin in fading light at the Finca Cortesin golf course.
