Turkey Shoot to be held at Sandridge Center

CALUMET CITY | The Calumet Memorial Park District's Turkey Shoot basketball competition will be held from 2-4 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Sandridge Center, 600 Oglesby Ave., Calumet City. Chicago Comets holding volleyball tryouts

CHICAGO | The Chicago Comets are holding tryouts for girls in grades 6-8 and grades 9-12 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday at the De La Salle Institute's Parmer Activity Center in Chicago. Registration begins at 6 p.m. Cost is $15, which must be paid in cash or checks made payable to the Chicago Comets Volleyball Club.
