CROWN POINT | The Crown Point Swim Club finished 24th at the Age-Group State Championships and ninth at the Senior State Championships during the summer season, which saw the club set 30 meter individual team records and 13 yard individual team records.

Some of the top performers for the club included Aly Tetzloff, who was nationally ranked seventh in the 100 freestyle, ninth in the 50 freestyle and 11th in the 100 butterfly in the girls 15-16 age group; and Hannah Kukurugya, who was nationally ranked 20th in the 200 butterfly and 21st in the 100 butterfly in the girls 15-16 age group.

Other club swimmers honored are as follows.

DEDICATED DOG AWARDS (Highest Attendance): Ruby Monroe, Morgan Hegyi, Caroline Kruit, Joey Karczewski, Kristian Kirilov, Christopher Letcher and Nikki Pudlo.

MOST IMPROVED AWARDS: Kirilov, Kruit, Kaitlin Gardner, Jordan Andras and Nathan Wendorf.

TOP DOG AWARDS (High Average Time Drop Over Season): Helen Swinford, Grace Mikrut, Christian Mikrut, Brian Voas and Baleigh Thorn.

TRUE SPIRIT OF SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD: Kruit.

SPIRIT OF EXCELLENCE AWARD: Tetzloff.
